Publication Frequency

SHAKAN: Jurnal Teologi, Konseling, dan Pendidikan Kristen is published regularly twice a year, in April and October.

Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge.

Article Processing & Submission Charges

Each article submitted to SHAKAN: Jurnal Teologi, Konseling, dan Pendidikan Kristen will undergo an initial screening by the Editorial Board to ensure its relevance to the journal’s focus and scope as well as its compliance with scholarly writing standards. Manuscripts that pass the initial screening will then be sent to qualified reviewers with expertise in the relevant field for peer review. The journal applies a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of both the authors and the reviewers are kept confidential in order to maintain objectivity and integrity throughout the evaluation process. Reviewers assess manuscripts based on the quality of their content, originality, scholarly contribution, methodological rigor, and technical accuracy of writing. After the review process is completed, the manuscript will be returned to the author(s) for revision in accordance with the reviewers’ comments and recommendations. The final decision regarding the acceptance or rejection of a manuscript rests entirely with the Editorial Board, based on the reviewers’ evaluations and the revisions made by the author(s).

SHAKAN: Jurnal Teologi, Konseling, dan Pendidikan Kristen does not charge any submission fees or publication fees. The journal applies no Article Processing Charges (APCs).
